→ CASH ONLY! There are plenty of konbinis around w/ access to ATM, come prepared.
→ Talking is allowed however you will notice that everybody keeps their voices at a very low level allowing the music to be the star of the show.
→ Smoking is allowed inside, the seats closer to the window allow for some outside air to come in.
→ Capacity is limited, make sure to check in w/ Shimoda-san upon entering, if there is space he will gesture you to come in, if there is no space, expect a direct 🙅🏻♂️

Where to eat nearby
During our first visit to Bar Stereo in 2023, our homie Chris Pellegrini aka the “shochu goat” put us on to “abura soba” a traditional style of Soba noodle common to Tokyo. The best way to describe it is, a brothless ramen. We went to Kasugatei just a few blocks away from Bar Stereo and on this trip we had to make a trip back. Make sure to purchase your ticket first from the machine (english menu available) and then wait for a seat to become available. Once inside, you hand your ticket over to the counter staff and enjoy. Water is complimentary although more drink options are also available. Space is tiny, expect to wait at times but it’s well worth it.
