Mike ‘Marsellus’ Wallace is the type of collector that other avid collectors/DJs always reference and always talk about w/ the utmost respect and admiration.

For the follow-up to Library Edition Vol. 001, we tapped into cognoscenti, Mike 'Marsellus' Wallace. I was introduced to Mike via my homie Ricky Regretti early on in the days of the Lp pop-up in 2020 and I'm really glad he was put on my radar. His Instagram has been an ongoing resource for me in learning about esoteric Italian + French Soundtracks, and his Soundcloud is a hidden gem w/ hours of gold. Whilst linking up w/ Ricky for lunch last month, he suggested we continue the series w/ Library Edition Vol. 002 and proposed we commission our friend and local San Diego record collector, Mike ‘Marsellus’ Wallace to guide us. I of course loved every aspect of this idea.

As with all our playlists + guest selectors, our collaborators have carte blanche when it comes to the music. I explained to Mike what we did w/ Vol. 001 and he completely got it. I’ve been selfish and been enjoying this playlist during my morning jogs or in the car for well over a week now. Library Edition Vol. 002 ℅ Mike 'Marsellus' Wallace is good, like really really good and I’m stoked to finally share it you as we grow the Library Edition playlist series and continue to explore these timeless tracks.

I recommend listening to it sans shuffle as the journey from beginning to end progresses very well and I somehow I feel the arrangement of tracks by Mike was by design.
